IN the 1976 movie "Network," Paddy Chayefsky's dark satire of the television age, a crazed anchorman actually had to encourage people to hang their heads out the window and scream, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!"
In the Internet era, no such urging is necessary. Look at all the Web sites that have sprung up to field all manner of kvetch, grouse, grumble and gripe — and in some cases forward them to the offending parties. As the sampling below suggests, the complaints aren't all life-and-death...

Complaint: Arby's overcharged me a dime.

Excerpt: At Arby's on Truxell in Sacramento, California, I ordered the $5.89 Giant Meal Deal as per the overhead poster. The receipt had some numbers on it which were undefined, plus 45 cents for taxes. The register rang up a total of $6.44. If you subtract the 45 cents tax, that means Arby's charged me $5.99 for the meal which was posted as $5.89 on the large sign. . . . When I complained to the manager I was given my money back and no meal. In essence, I was kicked out. I was labeled rude.
